Vietnam War Music – Popular and inspiring war memorial song.
June 14th, 2010
Craig Beaudin Vietnam war music. Popular and inspiring war memorial song on Youtube video. New instrumental music for the popular war heroes song. Instrumental recording by Fountain Gate Secondary College Band, Narre Warren, Victoria The song is very spiritual and compelling and the Fountain Gate Secondry College Band has added to that with their incredible instrumental music. The guitar work is so inspiring and lifts the listener to fully experience what the song and music is all about. Vietnam War 1962 – 1973. From 1962, approximately 50000 Australians, including ground troops, airforce and navy personnel served in Vietnam. 520 died and close to 2400 were wounded. It is important to highlight that many young men were conscripted to serve in Vietnam. From 1965 to 1972, 19450 national servicemen served in the Vietnam War, with 202 killed and 1279 wounded. The National Service Scheme was abolished on 5 December 1972. VIETNAM VETERANS DAY – 18TH AUGUST – LEST WE FORGET Vietnam Veterans’ Day honours those Australians who served during the Vietnam War and remembering those who died in the war. Australia and New Zealand, close allies of the United States of America (USA) and members of the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO), sent ground troops to Vietnam. Both nations had gained experience in counterinsurgency and jungle warfare during the Malayan Emergency. Their governments subscribed to the Domino Theory. Australia began by sending advisors to Vietnam in 1962 and combat troops …

Aussie songs and music.
May 20th, 2010
Craig Beaudin Aussie songs and music. First song – It’s Our Territory – Northern Territory song. Inspiring and powerful song for the Northern Territory. Also a great slogan. You don’t have to be a Territorian to watch the video or listen to the song. If you love Australia, it’s more than likely you will appreciate this song. It is a very powerful, patriotic and inspiring song. Northern Territory Online www.northernterritory.befoundonline.com.au Second song -Can You Hear Australia’s Heroes Marching? – Australian war memorial song. The song is timeless and honours the memory of those who have died in the service and defence of Australia in war. The marching theme of the song is especially powerful and supports the spirit of ANZAC Day. The song does not glorify war or endorse conflict of any kind. The song simply highlights the sacrifice of many Australians who died in the service and defence of our country in war. Over 100000 Australians have lost their lives in the service and defence of our country. Along with their mates, they’re marching once again, in the towns and cities, across our great land. Schools and students frequently ask to use this song in projects and commemorative ceremonies. Radio stations throughout Australia have broadcast the song leading up to ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day. The song is also requested to be played at funerals (for veterans). The song has been used for commemorative purposes across Australia by schools, churches, choirs, bands, councils, retirement …
Inspiring country song – Great Australian original music.
May 17th, 2010
Craig Beaudin Inspiring country song – Great Australian original music. Northern Territory – Australian songs. Great inspiring song and video. It’s Our Territory – Northern Territory Australia (NT). The Northern Territory is a federal territory of Australia, occupying much of the center of the mainland continent, as well as the central northern regions. It shares borders with Western Australia to the west, South Australia to the south, and Queensland to the east. To the north, the territory is bordered by the Timor Sea, the Arafura Sea and the Gulf of Carpentaria. Despite its large area, over 1349129 square kilometres (520902 sq mi) – making it the third largest Australian federal division – it is sparsely populated. With a population of 215000, it is the least populous division in the country. The history of the Northern Territory began over 40000 years ago when Indigenous Australians settled the region. Makassan traders began trading with the indigenous people of the Northern Territory for trepang from at least the 18th century onwards, and possibly for 300 years prior to that, while the coast of the Territory was first seen by Europeans in the 17th century. The British were the first to attempt to settle the coastal regions of the Territory in the 19th century; however no attempt was successful until the establishment of a settlement at Port Darwin in 1869. Today the economy is based on tourism, especially Kakadu National Park in the Top End and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in …
